School Director Tammy Regan was featured in a TV-9 story on water safety last June and the School has won the mayor’s Good Neighbor award two year running.

The Swimming School is a member of the United States Swim School Association, a trade association for swim school operators established in 1988.

The Swimming School has been teaching people to swim since it opened 1995, serving over 200 students each year. 

PRESCHOOL

These classes start by introducing the fearful child to the water and continue through primary skills and stroke development. 

CHILD  / AGES 6 – 13
This series begins with a class for children who have no experience in the water and ends with one that focuses on proper form and increased endurance. 

TEENAGER  / AGES 13-17

Designed for teens with beginning and intermediate skills, this class helps swimmers achieve buoyancy and loss of support with comfort.
